Honest comparison

AI physique rating apps, compared

There are a handful of these now, and they're not all doing the same thing. Here's what each one actually focuses on, based on how they describe themselves — including where Callout-AI fits.

These summaries are based on each app's own public description, not independent hands-on testing of every tool listed. Treat this as a map of what's out there, not a verified head-to-head benchmark.

What's out there

Callout-AI This site
Grades your physique S to E from one photo — a score for every visible muscle group, a body-fat estimate, and a named weakest point. Deliberately blunt tone, no flattery. Free scans (1) are limited to guest usage; a full body audit is a one-time purchase, with subscription tiers for scan history, Progress comparison, and Improve reports grounded in your own training and diet inputs.
GainFrame
Focused on progress tracking over time — quantifies what changed between scans (body-fat delta, FFMI delta, which muscle groups improved or regressed). Scores individual muscle groups and calculates FFMI as part of its reports.
LeanLens
Combines an overall physique score with muscle development, balance, proportions, and symmetry, plus a confidence-aware body-fat range rather than a single fixed number — the confidence level is reported alongside the estimate.
Rate My Physique (HyperBody)
Takes multiple photos (reported as 5) for a physique score and muscle-group breakdown, and generates an adaptive multi-week hypertrophy training plan as part of the result.
AestheticRank
Centers on a leaderboard — physiques are ranked against a top-100 list of other users, with its own tier naming rather than a letter-grade system.
TrueForm
Grades individual body regions (chest, back, arms, abs, legs) separately, layering in symmetry and posture analysis on top of the per-part scores.

The real differences

Most of these tools are solving slightly different problems. If you want to track change over time, something built around before/after deltas fits better than a single-snapshot grader. If you want to compare against other people, a leaderboard-style app does that directly. If you just want a fast, honest read with no wasted motion — grade, weak point, done — that's the gap Callout-AI is built for.

Nobody in this space, Callout-AI included, is a substitute for an in-person coach or a real body-composition scan (DEXA, etc.) — every one of these is working from photos, and photo quality, lighting, and pose all move the result.

Questions

What's the best AI physique rating app?
It depends what you want. Some apps focus on progress tracking over time, some on per-muscle scoring, some on community leaderboards. Callout-AI's angle is a blunt S-to-E grade with an honest weakest-point callout and no flattery — worth comparing against what you're actually looking for.
Are these app descriptions based on hands-on testing?
No — these summaries are based on how each app publicly describes itself, not independent testing of every tool. Treat this as a starting map of what's out there, not a verified benchmark.
How is Callout-AI different?
Callout-AI grades physiques S to E with per-muscle scores and names your weakest point directly, in a deliberately blunt tone rather than generic encouragement. It also offers Progress comparison between scans and Improve reports grounded in your own training and diet inputs.
